 What do our interns learn?

Interns will be exposed to a range of food and business related experiences. Opportunities to observe and participate in corporate and editorial recipe development and testing, food photo shoots, television food styling and set assistance, product development, trend tracking and day-to-day business activities make this internship beneficial to people who are keen to learn about the range of careers available in the food business.


 About our program
  • Interns are required to make a commitment of 1 month
  • Interns can come in four or five days a week, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • A travel allowance of $20 per day is offered, payable by cheque on Fridays
  • An in-depth exit interview will be given to each intern who completes
    a four week internship
  • Apprentices will be given a detailed reference letter upon completion
    of the program

 Who can become our intern?

Qualified candidates have an education or job experience background in the food business. Preference will be given to people who have clearly defined goals and who show ambition and personality.

Although this internship provides many opportunities to participate in food related projects and tasks, applicants should be prepared to do administrative and other tasks that support the team.

Our test kitchen is located in Maple, Ontario so only interns willing and able to commute to Maple on a daily basis should apply.
